Product Description:
The XMS2-W0010ANN-01NETT0ECNN-S03RSN2NNNN0NN is a drive inverter produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the XMS2 ctrlX Drives series. As part of the ctrlX DRIVE platform, the module regulates motor torque and speed in compact machine cells, packaging stations, and material-handling lines. The unit is designed for installation inside a control cabinet, where it operates as the power and control stage for one motor branch. Its power section converts voltage from the shared DC link into a phase-modulated output suitable for compatible synchronous or induction motors. This arrangement allows the inverter to execute motion commands while exchanging operating data with the rest of the automation system.
The unit has a single-axis configuration, so it controls one mechanical axis. Network connectivity is provided through a Multi-Ethernet interface, which supports communication with compatible industrial control networks. Applications using EtherCAT with SoE can exchange real-time motion commands, status information, and diagnostic data through the selected network connection. Parameter access is available through the fieldbus or connected PC tools because the housing is supplied without a control panel. The internal electronics and power semiconductors use internal air cooling, eliminating the need for a liquid-cooling circuit or an externally mounted heat sink. The control electronics and PCB layout belong to the second generation of the ctrlX DRIVE platform, providing increased controller bandwidth compared with the first generation.
Functional safety is provided by Safe Torque Off, which disables the output-stage gate signals while leaving fieldbus communication available. A multi-encoder interface supports SSI, BiSS, EnDat, and resolver feedback, allowing the inverter to receive position and speed data from several compatible encoder types. The IP20 enclosure prevents direct finger access to hazardous internal components but requires installation in a suitable cabinet. The power section supports a maximum DC-bus voltage of 750 V. The unit operates as an inverter without additional power-section functions. A motor connector set is not included, so an appropriate preassembled cable and connector combination must be selected for the connected motor family. This cable selection must match the motor feedback interface, power connection, and installation requirements of the application.
