It supplies regulated three-phase power to one motor while exchanging real-time data with the machine controller. This design supports compact motion axes in packaging systems, gantries, and material-handling equipment.
As a single-axis unit, the power stage and position loop serve one mechanical axis, which avoids channel-sharing delays in multi-drive assemblies. Networking is provided through a Multi-Ethernet interface that can detect industrial Ethernet variants automatically. Real-time motion commands are communicated over EtherCAT (SoE) for coordinated operation with the higher-level control system.
