The XMS2-W0006ANN-01NETT0NNNN-S05RSN2NNNN0NN is a drive unit produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the XMS2 ctrlX Drives series. It serves as a compact inverter that draws power from a shared DC bus and operates a single motion axis inside a modular automation rack. The integrated power section, control electronics, and network interface support precise motor regulation while conserving panel space. Its narrow frame is suitable for material-handling systems, packaging machines, and light machining equipment where several drive modules may be installed together.
This controller is configured for single-axis operation, so each module manages one motor. Motion commands reach the drive through a Multi-Ethernet interface, and deterministic cycle data can be exchanged over EtherCAT (SoE) when that protocol is selected. With a 4 kHz current loop, the power stage provides a continuous output of 2 A, making it suitable for low-to-medium-power servomotors used on auxiliary axes. Internal logic and gate drivers consume 79 W of control power, which helps limit the heat released inside the cabinet. The Safe Torque Off function disconnects the gate signals to prevent motor energization without requiring external power contactors for that function. The unit is supplied without a control panel or motor connector set, allowing the required accessories to be selected for the installation.

Air enters through a straight flow channel, simplifying cabinet ducting and maintaining consistent airflow across the cooling surfaces.
