The Bosch Rexroth XM2100.01-01-31-31-301-NN-10013NN is a programmable logic controller. IndraControl’s S20 I/O series can be integrated into the controller to add flexibility to the system. Optional extension modules can be used to add additional integration options. Three extension modules can be added to the XM2100.01-01-31-31-301-NN-10013NN via the bus base module XA-BS02.  The system is available in a standard Bosch Rexroth design which weighs 0.48 kilograms and measures 126.3 x 100 x 74.1 millimeters. Protection class of the housing is IP 20. Bosch recommends installation of the XM2100.01-01-31-31-301-NN-10013NN inside IP 54 rated enclosures where the system will be protected from metal vapors, acid and other corrosive elements. The XM2100.01-01-31-31-301-NN-10013NN comes with 2 options: EtherCAT softstack – master and OPA UA + OCI. Integrated interfaces on the system include 1 Gbps Ethernet, USB host and USB device ports.

Maximum cable length for the USB ports is 3 meters. A slot is available on the system for a SD card. The XM2100.01-01-31-31-301-NN-10013NN is based on a 600 Megahertz Intel Atom CPU. Permanent memory capacity of the system is 128 kilobytes. The capacity of system RAM is 512 Megabytes. The XM2100.01-01-31-31-301-NN-10013NN comes with a minimum of 1 Gigabyte of hard drive storage. The system requires 24 Volts DC input from a SELV/PELV power supply. At nominal voltage, the system draws 1.5 Amps current. Maximum power consumption of the system (including the S20 modules) is 36 Watts. A diode on the system provides reverse voltage protection for the supply voltage. An internal fuse rated for 2.5 Amps provided overcurrent protection. Transient protection is provided through suppressor diodes. The system is UL / CSA certified. Only qualified personnel should be allowed to install and operate the system. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
