By combining Sercos real-time networking with standard Ethernet, the module serves as the central processor that bridges drives, sensors, and supervisory PLC layers. The controller draws its logic power from a dedicated 24 V DC supply, keeping cabinet wiring compatible with common low-voltage control circuits. Motion commands are issued across the Sercos master interface, where a minimum cycle time of 250 µs supports tight position loops for servo axes.
