Product Description:
The XM2200.01-01-31-31-001-NN-101NNNN is an embedded control platform manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the XM21 IndraControl Systems series. As a compact PLC-class controller, it coordinates motion, I/O, and communication tasks inside automated machines and production cells. It runs deterministic logic cycles that synchronize drives, sensors, and actuators while exchanging status data with supervisory networks.
Its CPU runs at 1300 MHz, providing the processing speed needed for deterministic motion-control cycles. The board includes 512 MB of DRAM for user programs, buffered data, and real-time variables. Power is supplied at 24 V DC, and the controller draws up to 1.5 A during startup. An internal 2.5 A fuse disconnects the supply if an overcurrent condition occurs, while a diode network protects the circuitry against reversed supply polarity. Peak electrical demand is 36 W, allowing the cabinet power supply to be sized for the controller’s maximum load. Plant network access is provided through a single 1 Gbit Ethernet interface with an RJ45 connector, which supports configuration access and upstream communication. The XA-BS01 slot is empty on this model. Removable data storage is available through one SD card slot for program files, logs, and parameter backups.
The housing has an IP20 degree of protection, so the controller requires installation inside a closed electrical cabinet. Local I/O expansion is provided through the S20 backplane, which communicates at 100 Mbit/s. The backplane can supply up to 2 A to the connected segment and supports a maximum of 63 I/O modules without repeaters. These capabilities allow multiple local input and output devices to communicate with the controller through a shared internal bus. A single USB 2.0 host port accepts flash drives or compatible diagnostic adapters for data transfer and maintenance tasks. The compact interface arrangement reduces external cabling while keeping network, storage, and local expansion connections accessible within the cabinet.
