The XM2100.01-01-31-31-001-NN-103NNNN industrial controller is a state-of-the-art device specially designed by Rexroth Indramat to give industrial operators an efficient means to control the movement of the industrial motors present in the industrial servo system. This controller is characterized by its ability to accurately control the speed of industrial motors over a broad range, it is thus perfect for industrial machines that require a broad range of motor speed such as packaging systems, food processing machines, printing machines, paper converting machines and lots more. The protection offered by the housing unit of the XM2100.01-01-31-31-001-NN-103NNNN controller is according to the IP 20 protection category thus operators should ensure the controller is installed in a control cabinet that meets at least the IP54 protection category.

To preserve the integrity of the XM2100.01-01-31-31-001-NN-103NNNN controller, operators should ensure that the ambient air is free from a high concentration of acids, alkalis, corrosive metals, and other types of electrically conductive contaminants. Also, the controller to be protected against sulphurous gases such as hydrogen sulphide and sulphur dioxide as the controller is not resistant to these gases.  The maximum permissible ambient temperatures at which the XM2100.01-01-31-31-001-NN-103NNNN controller should be operated is +60 degree Celsius.

The XM2100.01-01-31-31-001-NN-103NNNN controller features an Intel E620T 600 MHz (CPU frequency) processor which carries out the major processing function in the industrial servo system. The housing unit of this controller is integrated with various communication interfaces which it uses to receive necessary information from all parts of the servo system. Some of these interfaces include the SERCOS III master/salve interface, the ethernet connection interface, and the USB interfaces.
