The XFE01.1-FB-03 is an Ethernet fieldbus extension module produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the XM21 IndraControl Systems series. Installed beside an XM21 CPU, the unit serves as an interface component that lets the controller govern remote drives, I/O stations, and safety nodes on industrial Ethernet networks. Its role in an automation cabinet is to expand deterministic communication capacity without adding a separate rack or consuming the processor’s integrated ports.
