The VT1610-S-30 is a plug-in servo amplifier card from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the VT 1600 Servo Amplifiers series. Installed in modular hydraulic control racks, the card converts command voltages into controlled solenoid current so that proportional valves track reference signals in automated machinery. By integrating current monitoring, adjustment jumpers, and field wiring on a single Eurocard, it simplifies the electrical side of closed-loop pressure, flow, and position circuits across factory and mobile equipment.

The front-panel ammeter is graduated across 30 positive and 30 negative divisions, with each division set by a 5.08 mm scale pitch so operators can observe the ±60 mA output span in real time. Internally, the amplifier injects a 3 mA ss dither at 340 Hz; this oscillation lowers static friction in valve spools while staying well above normal control bandwidths. Up to that span, controlled current is delivered, and the board draws less than 200 mA from the 24 V supply, which helps limit heat in densely packed cabinets. Thirty-two signal and power connections are routed through the 32-pole backplane connector, while 7 component-side and 1 conductor-side DIN divisions provide clearance to adjacent cards. Because no voltage regulator is fitted, the supply must already be stabilized, and the front plate uses the original German labeling.

Signal exchange with the rack follows the DIN 41612 Form D outline, so the card slides directly into standard 84-HP frames. A reed relay on the card has a coil resistance of 2000 Ω and actuates within 1 ms, supporting enable or alarm loops without external hardware. The assembly weighs only 0.20 kg, which keeps handling loads low during insertion and removal. Its low mass also helps reduce stress on the guide rails during routine service.
