The VT1610-3X-E1-4WRD16-3X is a single-axis servo amplifier card in the VT 1600 Servo Amplifiers series from Bosch Rexroth Indramat. Designed for mounting in a PLC or valve control rack, the board converts low-level command voltages into controlled coil current for proportional hydraulic valves in industrial automation. By fitting into a modular Eurocard cage, it provides closed-loop position or pressure regulation without additional discrete electronics. This arrangement makes the module suitable for compact hydraulic control systems where rack-based integration and stable analog response are required.
The board follows the Eurocard format, so its 100 mm × 160 mm outline slides directly into standardized 19-inch subracks. A differential 0 to ±10 V command signal sets the required valve position, and the reference enters through a DIN 41612 Form D, 32-pole backplane connector that also carries feedback and power lines. Internal analog circuitry converts this voltage to an adjustable output of ±60 mA, which is suitable for most 4WRD series proportional coils, and the same current is shown on the front-panel meter scaled at ±30 divisions for ±60 mA. A relay on the board engages auxiliary machine functions; its coil presents 2000 Ω of resistance, is energized for only 1 ms per switching event, and is rated for the same supply range so it can share the existing power source. An onboard regulator delivers ±15 V to the sensitive analog stages, isolating them from upstream fluctuations and helping preserve control accuracy during changes in rack load. The meter circuit also follows the front-panel scale directly, which allows quick visual confirmation of output behavior during normal machine operation.
