The VT 1610-3X/E1/4WS2EE25 is a servo amplifier card produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the VT 1600 Servo Amplifiers series. Supplied in Eurocard form, this module occupies seven visual divisions on the component side and a single 5.08 mm division on the conductor side, allowing dense rack installation. In an automation cell, the card converts low-level command voltages into regulated currents for electrohydraulic actuators, using electrical main feedback to maintain valve spool position.

The amplifier can source or sink a maximum output of ±60 mA, while requiring less than 200 mA from the system power rail, so it adds minimal load to the cabinet supply. Internally, a voltage regulator supplies the circuitry with ±15 V for stable operation. For improved resolution of small valve movements, a built-in dither signal is generated at 340 Hz with an amplitude of 3 mAss; this high-frequency modulation reduces static friction in the hydraulic metering edges. The coil drive stage is matched to a load of 2000 Ω, ensuring rated current is reached without saturating the output devices. An ammeter on the front plate is scaled at ±30 divisions, giving a visual span equal to ±60 mA for quick status checks during operation.

A 32-contact backplane link is provided through the 32-pole DIN 41612 Form D connector, which carries both power and signal lines in a keyed housing that prevents incorrect engagement. Because the card follows the Eurocard mechanical format, it slides directly into standard subracks without additional brackets. The front-mounted ammeter with its ±30-division scale can be read while the null and gain potentiometers on the labeled faceplate are adjusted. Despite the integrated functions, the module weighs only 0.20 kg, so card guides experience negligible mechanical stress during insertion and extraction.
