The VT 1610-3X/E1/4WRD52-3X is built to drive proportional directional valves with smooth, exact response. It is part of the VT 1600 Servo Amplifiers line from Bosch Rexroth Indramat; this model fits into systems using a 24 V DC supply and handles both ±10 V and 4–20 mA input signals. A plug-in style, mounted in Eurocard format, it drops directly into standard card slots without modification. That layout works well in rack-based systems that need compact, fast-swappable modules.

There’s an integrated position feedback system onboard, designed for precise motion handling where accuracy can't drift. Feedback loops like this cut down on over-correction and give steadier valve performance across varying loads. Adjustments are manual — a mix of DIP switches and onboard potentiometers allow fine-tuning ramp times and gain. The up/down ramp function is adjustable too, offering gradual motion shifts instead of sharp jumps that can disrupt flow or pressure. The unit can push up to 2.5 A current to the connected valve, enough to handle tough applications where constant motion is involved.

The connector uses a 32-pin DIN 41612 interface, which makes wiring simple for anyone working on the cabinet side. Once it’s in an enclosure, the protection level rises to IP20, guarding the internals from basic dust and finger contact. It works best inside environments running between 0 to 50°C; outside of that, performance could shift. Designed to run with 4WRD52-3X valves, this amplifier slips right into place without needing adapter hardware.
