Product Description:

The VT 1610-3X/E0/VT10210A/U123 directional control valve works with compressed air, filtered or not; doesn’t matter much as long as it’s not filthy. It comes with NBR seals inside, so chemical resistance isn’t extreme, but for regular factory air lines it holds up well. The housing is all aluminum, lightweight and won’t rust out like cast iron. The actuation type is electrical solenoid, a simple on/off function—nothing fancy. Ports mount straight onto a sub-base or manifold; no stand-alone use here.

The pressure range floats between 2 to 8 bar, and that’s about standard for small to mid-range pneumatic lines. The flow is solid—about 300 l/min, which means it can cycle cylinders or small actuators with no stall. The valve connects using an M8 plug or just plain wire leads depending on the wiring harness. There are no onboard electronics—just switch it and it fires. The body stays compact despite having all that function inside. The power side needs 24 V DC to energize the solenoid. That’s low voltage, safe, and already part of most control cabinets anyway.

The valve type is a directional control valve, part of the VT 1600 Servo Amplifiers lineup from Bosch Rexroth Indramat. The model code is long but tracks back in their catalog clearly. The internal routing is tight, so response is quick—no sloppy lag. There is nothing modular here; everything’s packed into one unit. When the solenoid pulls, it just shifts clean. No pilot signal is needed. It is designed more for reliability than reconfigurability. It is mostly used in semi-automated lines or older CNCs still running pneumatic logic. No extra cooling or airflow is needed. It doesn’t ask for much—just clean air, correct voltage, and a proper mount—and it runs. Nothing is over-engineered.
