The VT 1610-3X/E0/4WRD16-3X card works as a proportional amplifier inside the Bosch Rexroth VT 1600 Servo Amplifiers lineup. Built for precision, it pushes out ±10 V to the valve and handles position feedback using LVDT — good for applications that rely on a tight loop control without much margin for error. The voltage supply runs at 24 V DC nominal and sits comfortably in most machine racks that follow standard industrial control voltage. The plug-in connector is on the rear, so cabling stays tucked out of the way. The output current can reach 2.5 A per coil, which is enough for most standard valves in the 4WRD16-3X series.

There’s a diagnostic LED strip built into the face — power, error, and control all light up separately, so checking for issues doesn’t require pulling the board out. The unit handles both ±10 V and 4...20 mA signals as input — analog only — and responds pretty quickly. Ramp generation is integrated too, and times can be adjusted to slow or speed up the response, depending on how the valve needs to behave. The unit does not come with a fancy external casing, so the protection rating stays at IP20 once mounted in a rack. That’s fine for control cabinets but not exposed environments.

Peak draw is around 50 VA, depending on how it’s configured, and the typical operation range holds between 0°C to +50°C. No active cooling is needed here, just passive airflow inside the cabinet.
