The VT 1610-3X/1/4WS2EE10 is a plug-in servo amplifier card produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT 1600 Servo Amplifiers series. It conditions proportional valve coils so they follow a voltage reference from upstream motion controllers. Within a hydraulic axis, the card modulates coil current to provide closed-loop positioning and force control, replacing manual throttling and improving repeatability in industrial automation cells.
This amplifier accepts a command range of ±10 V and converts it into a regulated output of ±60 mA for the valve spool. The internal circuitry draws no more than 200 mA from the rack supply, and a coil resistance of 2000 Ω keeps power dissipation low at setpoint. A dither signal is superimposed at a rate of 340 Hz to reduce static friction at the hydraulic metering edges. The onboard oscillator that produces the dither runs at 2.5 kHz, while pulse shaping yields a 1 ms duty cycle for fast magnetic recovery. Electrical feedback from the main spool closes the loop so the coil current follows the reference accurately.
