By combining closed-loop position, velocity, and pressure regulation on several hydraulic cylinders, the unit acts as an interface between the machine PLC and proportional valves, letting production equipment execute coordinated moves defined in a standardized NC language.
Using the integrated communication software COM252M, parameter sets can be transferred from a supervisory PC while the amplifier is online. Motion computation is supported by 2 counter module channels that capture reference marks or probe points from external sensors. For axis interlocking, the firmware stores 32 cross-axis cams, providing time-critical switching without additional hardware. Up to 4 hydraulic axes can be commanded concurrently, and each axis may draw on as many as 2000 NC sets to execute contour segments or pressure profiles.
