It links proportional hydraulic valves with closed-loop feedback devices so that up to four axes can move in coordinated profiles on assembly lines, presses, or test rigs. Within an automation cell, the unit receives position data from encoders, converts those signals into valve currents, and exchanges status information with a supervisory PLC. Because valve command generation and feedback evaluation occur in the same module, response remains consistent during synchronized motion and sequence changes.
An I/O combination board supplies 8 AI / 4 AO channels for analog sensing and command voltages, and parameterization is carried out through COM252M. The internal cam table holds 32 cross-axis cams, enabling time-critical switching without external logic. For binary interfacing, a digital module offers 8 DI / 8 DO lines that accept limit switches and indicator outputs.
