The VT 16000-2X-100 is a servo amplifier card produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT 1600 Servo Amplifiers series. Installed in hydraulic press and motion platforms, the unit coordinates several closed-loop axes by processing position feedback from incremental and absolute encoders, issuing analog commands to proportional valves, and exchanging data with a supervising PLC. Its role in an automation cell is to translate numeric NC data into synchronized hydraulic movements that match the programmed tool path and cycle time.
The controller accepts up to eight analog combination-module inputs for pressure or position signals and provides four analog outputs to drive servo-proportional valves. Program loading and diagnostic interaction are carried out with the COM252M communication package over an RS-232 link. Two counter slots read two incremental encoders, while a cam generator can manage 32 cross-axis cam profiles so coupled tooling fires at precise angles. Eight digital inputs and eight digital outputs are present for limit switches, solenoids, or interlocks.
