The VT-SSPA1-5-1X/V0/0-24 is a plug-in proportional amplifier card produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT-SSPA Plugin Proportional Amplifiers series. Installed in control cabinets, it drives proportional solenoid valves by converting a voltage command into regulated coil current for hydraulic control tasks. The module supports closed-loop hydraulic motion but has no internal position feedback, so external sensors must handle any positional supervision required by the axis. This arrangement suits valve-control applications in which the amplifier regulates current while a separate control layer monitors actual movement.
The amplifier operates from a supply of 24 VDC and can deliver up to 1.2 A of controlled current to a connected solenoid. A high input impedance of 20 kΩ minimizes loading on the command source, while the internal pulse-width-modulation clock of 200 Hz helps shape current resolution and valve acoustics.
