The VT-PK2-30 is a plug-in proportional amplifier card produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT-SSPA Plugin Proportional Amplifiers series. Installed in a control rack beside valve electronics, the unit converts reference voltages into regulated control currents so that hydraulic proportional valves receive stable actuation, enabling consistent pressure and position loops in automated machinery. Within closed-loop systems, the module supplies the open-loop gain that standard PLC analog outputs cannot provide, serving as a precise interface between digital controllers and hydraulic actuators on presses, injection machines, and test stands.

Its mechanical outline of 100 × 160 mm matches the Eurocard profile, allowing insertion into common 3U subracks without additional hardware. The board geometry conforms to DIN 41 494, so the mounting rails and guide slots align with other standardized modules. Signal and power pins are consolidated on a blade connector that follows the contact arrangement of DIN 41 612. This arrangement allows the card to be withdrawn from the backplane without disturbing the cabinet wiring. The standardized format also supports orderly placement alongside compatible valve-control electronics in the same rack.

Electrically, the card accepts an input reference of 10 V and converts it into a valve-drive current of 5 mA. A matching ±10 V output is also available for downstream monitoring devices. Ten onboard potentiometers provide access to gain, ramp, and offset adjustments, and their 10-turn trimming design permits fine control of each setting. Internal signal scaling allows the amplifier to work with pressure or flow control stations that use the dimensional and connector standards described above. Adjustment tasks remain accessible from the front of the installed card, so the surrounding rack assembly does not need to be disassembled when operating parameters require refinement.
