The VT 11131-12 is a single-channel servo amplifier card manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the VT Servo Amplifiers series. Installed inside control cabinets, the module translates low-level command signals into proportional current for hydraulic directional and pressure valves, allowing closed-loop positioning or force regulation in automated presses, molding machines, and material-handling systems. By generating a precisely timed pulse train and regulating coil current, the card provides consistent valve spool displacement without the response drift that can occur with simpler on-off drivers.
The amplifier’s input stage is designed for a nominal supply of 24 V DC, which provides the reference rail for its internal regulators and output drivers. Operation remains stable down to a lower limit of 21 V and up to an upper limit of 35 V. This operating range allows uninterrupted performance with battery-backed or rectified power sources that experience transient voltage sag or overshoot. Under normal operation, the electronics draw no more than 28 VA of apparent power, while peak control-side current consumption is limited to 1.3 A.
The card’s output channel delivers up to 1.6 A to the proportional solenoid, a limit matched to coils with a cold resistance of 5.4 Ω at 20 °C so that magnetic force remains linear across the stroke. An onboard oscillator produces a 300 Hz clock pulse that chops the drive current, reducing hysteresis and heat within the valve. Field wiring connects to six screw terminals, and the unit clips onto a TH 35/7.5 rail for cabinet installation. Its compact dimensions include a front width of 25 mm, a depth of 85.5 mm, and a height of 79 mm, helping conserve cabinet space. The IP20 housing protects against accidental contact with internal components while permitting ventilation inside the enclosure.
