Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the VT 11118-10 servo amplifier module as a member of the VT Servo Amplifiers series. The unit conditions low-level command voltages and drives proportional or servo hydraulic valves used in industrial automation for precise flow and pressure control. Housed on a compact DIN rail carrier, the amplifier receives machine control signals, scales them through onboard attenuators, and supplies regulated current to the valve outputs, allowing synchronized actuation of paired valve coils within motion or pressure control loops.
The control electronics are energized by a nominal supply of 24 VDC, while the maximum supply voltage is 35 V, allowing the circuitry to tolerate moderate overvoltage events. Upstream protection is reinforced with a fast-acting 3.5 A F fuse that clears fault currents before board traces overheat. The amplifier incorporates 2 output stages, so a single card can manage both valve coils. Two command attenuators provide coarse signal scaling during setup. The enclosure has an ingress protection rating of IP20, making installation inside a suitable control cabinet necessary.
