The module is a plug-in amplifier card that energizes proportional solenoids in hydraulic valve assemblies, translating low-level command voltages into regulated coil current for precise flow or pressure control in automated machines. It forms the interface between motion controllers and electrohydraulic actuators, ensuring repeatable actuation without the complexity of discrete power stages. This arrangement allows a higher-level controller to command hydraulic motion with stable current output at the valve. A compact footprint allows straightforward panel integration.

Electrical characteristics support stable operation and system protection. The supply line is protected by a 3.15 A time-lag external fuse, and the card draws below 2 A during normal duty with inrush limited to 4 A at power-up. A nominal rail of 24 V feeds the output stage, and the amplifier can deliver up to 2.7 A of controlled current to the solenoid winding. The voltage follower input presents 100 Ω of load to the command source, while an additional 200 kΩ monitor input supports high-impedance feedback loops. The monitor input allows external observation without significantly loading the circuit. Downstream devices must exhibit at least 1000 Ω of impedance to maintain signal integrity. Internal power dissipation remains below 48 W, keeping heat generation low. Field wiring is accomplished through 12 detachable spring-type terminals that simplify wiring changes without disturbing neighboring conductors.

The module is built for cabinet installation. The enclosure is molded from glass-fiber-reinforced polyamide, weighs only 0.14 kg, and mounts easily on a DIN rail. The low mass helps reduce rail loading in dense control cabinets. It reaches operational readiness in less than 1 s, which supports coordinated machine start sequences after an emergency stop. The degree of protection is IP20, so the card is intended for closed control cabinets up to 2000 m above sea level where convection cooling is sufficient.
