Product Description:
The VT-HPC-1-1X/M-0-00/00 piston pump controller is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the VT-HPC Piston Pump Controllers series. It is an electronic module that supervises the swashplate position and displacement of an A4 pump equipped with HS5 control, allowing process equipment to vary hydraulic output without mechanical feedback loops. Installed inside a machine control cabinet, it interfaces with higher-level PLCs to translate digital setpoints into proportional pump commands for industrial automation cells that require dynamic pressure or flow regulation.
A copper-braid shield surrounds the I/O cable bundle to suppress conducted and radiated electrical noise, while elongated cooling slots in the housing provide passive convection so the board can dissipate heat generated by the power electronics. The controller snaps onto a DIN rail, and its enclosure meets the IP20 protection class for use in dry, enclosed cabinets. Sensors connected to the module receive a regulated 24 VDC supply, eliminating the need for external power conditioners. Parameter archives reside on a microSD card that communicates over the SPI bus and uses the FAT32 file system, allowing files to be exchanged with common computers. Application projects require IndraWorks 14V14 or newer. The associated HDx-20/V08 PLC must use a compatible software release to provide full feature support.
Machine logic is written according to IEC 61131-3, which supports established programming languages for industrial control applications. Source code is uploaded over a TCP/IP link that also handles software and archived project transfers. An embedded Ethernet service port provides real-time diagnostic access through the network, allowing operating information to be reviewed without direct access to the module. A minimum clearance of 1 m from high-voltage circuitry is required to preserve electromagnetic compatibility and reduce the risk of interference with control signals. The network connection also provides access to stored project data while the controller remains installed inside the cabinet.
