Product Description:
The VT-HPC-1-11/M-P-00/00 is a piston pump controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT-HPC Piston Pump Controllers series. The unit supervises variable-displacement hydraulic pumps, translating process variables and network commands into valve signals that stabilize pressure and flow in automated machinery. Intended for cabinet integration, the controller forms the electrical link between system PLCs, feedback sensors, and proportional valves, enabling closed-loop hydraulic regulation without separate stand-alone electronics.
It operates from a 24 VDC supply, so power wiring can share the control bus that also feeds the sensor rail. Communication with higher-level control systems is provided through an Ethernet port that accepts a CAT5e cable, enabling 100 Base-TX throughput for pump setpoints and status data. The housing carries an IP20 protection class suitable for enclosed panels. An onboard PLC runtime follows IEC 61131-3, allowing user logic to execute directly on the board. The module snaps onto a DIN rail, and the field terminals require a wire strip length of only 10 mm. A removable microSD card communicates over the SPI bus and must be formatted as FAT32 for loading software and storing trend files.
Up to 50 m can separate the controller from analog transducers or the incoming 24 V supply, while digital command and valve leads may extend 30 m without signal boosters. These permitted cable lengths support field wiring across large machines while helping maintain stable power and signal transmission. The internal oscilloscope records 8 trace variables simultaneously, allowing pressure, displacement, and temperature signals to be examined in real time. This recording capability helps users compare multiple hydraulic and thermal conditions during operation without disconnecting field devices. When positioning the unit, at least 1 m of clearance is required from radio transmitters to limit electromagnetic coupling. Sensor ports provide an unregulated 24 VDC feed for connected devices.
