Product Description:
The VT-HACDI-1-1X-V0-1-0-0 is a digital axis controller card produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the VT-HACD Digital Axis Controllers series. Designed for closed-loop positioning and velocity regulation, it interfaces proportional valves and motion sensors in industrial automation. By combining analog measurement channels with high-speed digital logic, the card translates machine commands into precise hydraulic or electromechanical actuation tasks. This arrangement lets one module manage command processing, sensor evaluation, and output generation without separate signal-conditioning boards.
It runs from a 24 VDC nominal supply and references signals to a differential ±10 V level, allowing standard PLC analog ranges to connect without scaling amplifiers. The internal controller samples all channels every 2 ms, so loop updates keep pace with fast hydraulic axes. Six analog inputs accept command or feedback currents that the card digitizes with 5 µA resolution, while three analog outputs deliver finely stepped drive signals. On AO1, the current granularity is 1.25 µA and the voltage step size is 1.25 mV, both derived from a 14-bit converter. Auxiliary outputs AO2 and AO3 use an 11-bit stage that adjusts in 10 mV increments, which is suitable for spool valve dither control. The board area measures 100 × 160 mm and fits a standard Eurocard rack.
Nine isolated digital inputs latch position switches, encoders, or safety interlocks, and eight transistorized digital outputs can energize relays or solenoid pilots. Each output may source up to 30 mA, which is enough for optocoupler stages without external drivers. Protection on the supply line is provided by a 4 A slow-blow fuse, and the electronics draw a maximum idle load of only 250 mA, leaving headroom on typical 24 V power supplies for field devices. Input isolation helps protect the control section from electrical noise when field wiring runs alongside power conductors. The design keeps current surges within cable limits while supporting reliable cold-start behavior and fault-tolerant shutdown routines.
