Product Description:
The VT-HACD-DPQ-1-20/V0/1-0-0 digital axis controller is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the VT-HACD Digital Axis Controllers series. As a rack-mounted module, it supervises hydraulic or electrohydraulic actuators and translates motion commands from a PLC into precisely metered valve currents. Its feedback processing supports closed-loop position or pressure control in industrial automation cells.
It provides 6 analog inputs, allowing the controller to read transducer signals from pressure or position sensors on separate channels. Current signals are digitized with a resolution of 5 µA, so the internal processor can detect small changes in a two-wire transmitter loop. For voltage-mode instruments, the controller samples signals with a resolution of 5 mV. Voltage input nonlinearity remains within ±0.25%, reducing scaling errors during signal conversion. Commands are sent through 3 analog outputs, each referenced to an internal +10 V source trimmed to ±25 mV for stable offset generation. The module draws 200 mA from its 24 V logic supply and permits up to 0.047 µF of capacitive loading on each analog channel without oscillation.
The first analog output can supply up to 10 mA against a minimum load of 1 kΩ, supporting compatible control devices without external buffers. Fast feedback is accepted through an incremental encoder port that tracks edges at frequencies up to 250 kHz. Absolute position data are handled through an SSI interface that transmits 28-bit words. Discrete connections include 9 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs; each input changes state at 7 mA, while each output supplies 20 mA for pilot relays or indicator lamps. The controller has an IP20 enclosure rating, so it must be installed inside a protected cabinet. Stable reference voltage and moderate current consumption limit internal heat, helping the controller maintain signal accuracy throughout its operating range.
