The VT-HACD-3-20-P-I-00-000 is a digital axis controller developed by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT-HACD Digital Axis Controllers series. Mounted on a DIN rail inside machine cabinets, it coordinates hydraulic or electromechanical positioning by linking fieldbus commands with local sensor feedback. By running motion algorithms on its own hardware, the unit relieves the PLC of fast interpolation tasks and delivers deterministic positioning for presses, test rigs, and automated handling equipment. This arrangement helps the control system respond quickly to changing axis conditions without shifting every motion calculation to the higher-level controller.

At the heart of the module, a 32-bit PowerPC processor executes interpolation cycles while exchanging data through the fieldbus port, which supports PROFIBUS DP at selectable rates up to 12 MBaud. Control electronics draw 200 mA from the 24 V cabinet supply, which helps keep demand on the control power rail modest in compact panels.
