Bosch Rexroth Indramat's VT-HACD-1-17/V0/1-0-0, which is part of the VT-HACD Digital Axis Controllers line, offers excellent performance for automation setups.
For increased energy efficiency, this controller uses 200 mA of electricity at 24 VDC and operates within power ranges of 18 to 30 VDC. A PowerPC 32-bit processor is used by the controller to efficiently carry out quick control routines. With software controls, users may adjust the unit's six analog channels between ±10 V, 0–10 V, and 0–20 mA. The device reads 5 millivolt signals and accepts up to 40 millivolt calibration errors for exact input measurements. The VT-HACD-1-17/V0/1-0-0 provides 3 analog outputs. Channel AO1 stands ready for users to select its output mode between 0-10 V, ±10 V, or 0-20 mA/4-20 mA specifications while AO2 and AO3 provide fixed ±10 V connection. With 9 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs, the controller offers a smooth connection to digital systems. It enables connection to PROFIBUS DP at 12 MBaud speed and RS232 for BODAC communication which makes it attachable to different industrial network systems. The device integrates Ethernet interfaces that enable direct networking with both PROFINET RT and EtherNet/IP as standard communication platforms.
This device functions from 0°C to 50°C and weighs 1162 grams with an Ethernet connection and 930 grams without an Ethernet connection. Its electronic systems deliver +10 V of reference voltage that stays within 25 mV (+20 mA) for each motor control path. It operates in controlled zones as the IP 20 rating guards against any object larger than 12 millimeters. The control system can handle digital position transducers using SSI Gray/binary encoding and incremental transducers with TTL output at a very high speed up to 250 kHz. The controller works only with top hat rails models TH 35-7.5 or TH 35-15 that comply with EN 60715 standards.
