VT-HACD-1-14/V0/1-0-0 is a digital card. It is designed and produced by Bosch Rexroth. The card works as a controller card and as a command value card. When used as a command value card, operators can use it for standardizing, linking and generating signals. When used as a controller card, operators can use it for control loops with a PID controller. The card does not include valve output stage or a bus connection. It does feature a RS-232 serial interface for terminal communication. The BODAC software, which is available as a free download, can be used to configure and parameterize the card. This software runs on a computer that communicates with the card via the RS-232 interface. System requirements for the computer running BODAC include 64 MB memory and 250 MB of hard drive space. Functions supported by BODAC include dialog functions for online/offline setting of machine data, dialog window for setting of parameter values, comprehensive process variables display options, digital inputs/ outputs, and flags and recording and the graphical representation of maximum eight process variables with selection of trigger options. A display and keys are also available on the card for diagnostics and parameter display. The VT-HACD-1-14/V0/1-0-0 card runs on DC input.
