Product Description:
The VT-HACD-1-11/V0/1-P-0 is a plug-in digital axis controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT-HACD Digital Axis Controllers series. It installs in a control rack to supervise proportional or servo valves, close hydraulic position loops, and interface with PLCs. By executing internal algorithms at fixed time intervals, the module provides deterministic motion control for presses, forming machines, and test stands where precise valve current and feedback processing are required.
The controller is powered by a stabilized 24 VDC supply and uses a 4 A time-delay fuse to protect its internal regulation stages. Processing cycles repeat every 2 ms, allowing tight loop bandwidth for hydraulic positioning. Communication with higher-level networks occurs over PROFIBUS DPV0, so absolute commands and diagnostic words travel through a single shielded cable. The controller has 6 analog input channels for pressure, position, or flow transducers, and each channel is sampled at 14-bit resolution. It also has 8 optically isolated digital inputs that accept signals from limit switches or mode selectors. The first analog output, AO1, supplies up to 10 mA with a voltage step of 1.25 mV, while AO2 and AO3 provide ±10 V references for external drives. An onboard oscillator supplies 13 V peak-to-peak at 5.7 kHz for LVDT or half-bridge sensors, enabling ratiometric displacement measurement without additional electronics.
Axis actuation signals leave the card through 7 digital outputs, each of which can sink or source up to 30 mA for relays or status lamps. Valve magnets receive closed-loop current limited to 2.5 A per coil, providing sufficient force for high-flow proportional spools. Typical standby current consumption is 250 mA, which reduces the load on the cabinet power supply while motion is idle. The entire assembly weighs 0.2 kg, so it adds minimal mass to compact electrohydraulic control panels. Its plug-in format also allows the controller to be integrated into rack-based systems without requiring a separate enclosure.
