Internal Product Review
The VT-HACD-1-10/V0/1-P-0 is a Bosch Rexroth Indramat digital axis controller with a PROFIBUS DPV0 bus interface and a 24 VDC nominal supply, making integration straightforward in modern motion systems. A well-balanced I/O set of 9 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs supports precise machine coordination and clean signal handling. Incremental encoder processing up to 100 kHz and an RS485 SSI line interface make this controller a strong choice for accurate axis feedback.

Product Description:
The VT-HACD-1-10/V0/1-P-0 is a plug-in digital axis controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the VT-HACD Digital Axis Controllers series. Installed in a modular drive cabinet, the board coordinates motion by reading setpoints, monitoring feedback devices, and sending commands to proportional or servo valves. This allows a single axis to follow the programmed trajectory in an automated machine, and the plug-in format keeps the control function compact inside the rack.
It accepts a nominal supply of 24 VDC, a level common to control cabinets, and the rail is protected through a 4 A time-lag fuse that limits fault current. There are 6 analog inputs for sensors such as pressure or position transducers, and three analog outputs forward computed signals to external amplifiers. Logic switching is handled with 9 digital inputs for status bits and 8 digital outputs that can actuate relays or signal PLC flags. That mix of I/O lets the controller supervise command values, feedback signals, and machine interlocks on the same card. Field communication occurs over PROFIBUS DPV0, allowing the controller to exchange setpoints and diagnostics on a deterministic bus, while incremental encoder feedback is accepted up to 100 kHz so high-resolution position loops remain stable at fast speeds.
The card follows the Eurocard 100 mm × 160 mm format and plugs into a backplane through a 64-Pole DIN 41612 connector, which carries power, I/O, and fieldbus lines in a single edge interface. Idle power demand is limited to 250 mA, reducing heat load in densely populated racks. A two-line display is included on the front panel for parameter checks, and an RS485 SSI interface supports absolute encoders when required. The design omits a valve output stage, so drive signals must be routed to an external power amplifier. This keeps the controller focused on signal processing and communication while the external amplifier handles power delivery to the valve.
