Within an automation loop, the board performs closed-loop regulation so that hydraulic or electromechanical actuators follow commanded positions with minimal steady-state error. Its rack-mounted design allows the control function to be integrated with other compatible cards in a shared enclosure.
The card has the standard Eurocard dimensions of 100 × 160 mm, allowing multiple control channels to fit within a single enclosure. The backplane connection uses a DIN 41612 Form D interface furnished as a 32-pin blade connector. This connector style keeps insertion forces low while maintaining reliable electrical contact under vibration. The command potentiometer starts from a raised zero point, providing a small preset bias that helps center the valve spool during setup. This arrangement allows the control circuit to compare the commanded position with the measured position and adjust the output current accordingly.
