The VT-5041-30/V13D is an electronic interface card manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT-5000 I/O Cards series. Designed for rack-mounted hydraulic control systems, the board conditions sensor, command, and solenoid signals so machine controllers can regulate proportional valves and monitor spool position in automated presses, molding machines, and test rigs. It follows the Eurocard format and plugs directly into a standardized backplane, allowing access to the card without rewiring the control cabinet. The interface supports signal processing and proportional valve control within a compact rack assembly.
Primary power is supplied through a backplane rail at 24 V DC, while the circuitry remains stable from the 21 V undervoltage limit up to the 35 V ceiling. Under nominal conditions, the card draws 0.6 A. Its precision reference stages receive ±15 V at 10 mA from the auxiliary supply. For actuation, the power stage can deliver 2.5 A to the connected proportional solenoid, providing the magnetic force needed for full spool movement. A 2 kΩ measuring socket accepts test leads without interrupting the control loop, allowing current ramps to be compared with commanded profiles.
The signal section operates with an internal carrier frequency of 5.4 kHz, and the driver is designed for a coil resistance of 2 Ω. Feedback diagnostics provide a Dm2 amplitude of 3.6 V and an Iw9 amplitude of 1 V. Mechanical feedback comes from a valve sensor with a ±0.6 mm window and a swivel sensor with a ±4 mm range. The Eurocard has dimensions of 100 × 160 mm, allowing it to fit compatible rack-mounted control systems.
