Product Description:
The Bosch Rexroth Indramat VT 5041-24/1-0C is an input-output signal conditioning card from the VT-5000 IO Cards series. Installed in a modular rack, the board supplies drive signals and feedback channels that allow a controller to command and monitor pressure or swivel functions while limiting current to connected solenoids. Standardized voltage ranges for command and actual-value signals simplify closed-loop control in industrial automation. The board can process references from a controller and return measured values through dedicated channels, allowing the connected system to regulate proportional hydraulic equipment.
The card operates from a regulated 24 V DC supply and draws 0.6 A, allowing direct connection to standard control cabinets. An enable signal must exceed 12 V before the outputs activate, which prevents unintended actuation during startup. Pressure is commanded through a 0 to 10 V signal, and the circuit converts this reference into a solenoid current of up to 2.5 A for proportional valves. The actual-pressure feedback channel uses the same voltage span, allowing the PLC to compare the target and measured values without additional scaling. A pulse oscillator operating at 5.4 kHz provides the carrier for current modulation and helps reduce audible noise. The board operates at temperatures from 0 to +50 °C. It also provides an auxiliary ±15 V rail with a tolerance of +2/-6 percent for external sensors.
Swivel positioning is commanded through a differential reference of ±10 V, and the board returns an actual swivel-position signal within the same limits so the drive can close the position loop. A ±4 mm stroke sensor for the swivel axis and a ±0.6 mm valve-core sensor connect through the field terminals, providing displacement data that correspond to the electronic input ranges. On the rack side, the printed circuit board plugs into a 32-pin male multipoint connector. The connector follows the DIN 41612 design D arrangement for compatibility with the corresponding rack interface. The card occupies one Eurocard slot and measures 100 × 160 mm. This format allows the board to fit a standardized modular rack while maintaining organized access to its command, feedback, sensor, enable, and solenoid connections.
