Product Description:
Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the VT 5036 S12 IO card. With its small size (100 x 160 mm) and DIN 41494 compliance, it makes the most of the space in industrial control cabinets. For timing-dependent actions, this frequency (number of clock cycles per second) is important. Faster data processing at higher frequencies is required for applications that need exact synchronization and fast response times. Internal timing is based on a stable oscillator frequency of 2.5 kHz ±10%. For all activities to have precise timing, this frequency must be stable.
A key part of the card’s operation is the controlled voltage of ±9 V ±1%. For connected devices, this guarantees a stable power supply. The current the card can deliver without exceeding its limits is defined by its maximum load current of 30 mA. For the card and all connected devices to last long and not overheat, this setting is important. The logical signal strength is defined by the voltage amplitude of 5V per output, which is important for compatibility with many digital devices. For precise and reliable control of electromagnetic actuators, these characteristics are important.
With an input resistance (Ri) of 100 Ω command value (0 to ±6 V) and actual position (0 to ±6 V), the measuring socket requirements allow for precise signal measurement and feedback, which is important for closed-loop control systems. The card is for typical industrial use, as seen by its operating temperature range of 0 to 50 °C. This range ensures the card won’t get heat stressed and can operate reliably in normal working conditions. The front panel dimensions, width (1 TE/7 TE) and height (3 HE) ensure compatibility with common industrial rack systems and can be easily integrated into existing configurations.
