Product Description:
The VT 5007-1X driver card is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT-5000 IO Cards series. The module installs in modular hydraulic or motion-control racks and provides transistorized outputs that switch valve solenoids or auxiliary loads during synchronized machine cycles. By isolating the controller bus from field wiring, the board provides stable current delivery to actuators and improves diagnostic clarity within industrial automation loops.
Its footprint measures 100 × 160 mm, and a front-panel height of 128.4 mm allows flush alignment inside standard 3U card cages. Field and backplane conductors terminate on the 32-pin DIN 41612 Form D connector so that logic signals remain separate from power traces. All logic circuits use a 24 V DC supply, while each driver channel can source up to 30 mA into optically isolated indicators or feedback lines. The switched outputs deliver a 5 V amplitude to downstream logic. An internal oscillator operating at 2.5 kHz sets the pulse-width modulation frequency that shapes proportional valve currents. Five fixed ramp-time presets smooth command changes, helping prevent abrupt hydraulic shocks during acceleration or deceleration sequences.
Output conditioning is protected by a 2.5 A time-delay fuse that disconnects the card if external wiring faults draw more than the rated current. When energized, each valve coil may draw up to 1.8 A with a solenoid resistance of 5.4 Ω, a range suitable for the directional cartridges used in mobile and industrial power units. The onboard regulator supplies ±9 V for analog reference circuits, providing accurate comparison thresholds for the relay network, whose coils have a resistance of 2,150 Ω. These relays pull in at 16.8 V and release at 2.4 V, providing clear hysteresis between actuation and dropout. Despite the integrated protection and filtering components, the assembled card weighs only 0.15 kg, reducing mechanical strain on backplane connectors in high-vibration cabinets.
