Product Description:
The VT-5005 S11 input/output card belongs to the VT-5000 IO Cards series from Bosch Rexroth Indramat. Designed for rack installation in hydraulic drive controllers, the board translates external analog commands into conditioned reference signals that actuate proportional valves and solenoid coils throughout industrial machinery. Multiple differential inputs, an internal clock source, and onboard power regulation allow the module to bridge PLC logic levels with the higher-energy driver stages that control oil flow or pressure in presses, casting equipment, and dynamic test stands.
It draws a nominal supply of 24 VDC and limits internal demand to a maximum of 2 A, keeping overall dissipation below 50 VA. Its dimensions of 100 × 160 mm follow the Eurocard format and allow installation in a standard compatible rack. A 32-pin DIN 41612 Form D connector routes logic, enable, and feedback lines to the host backplane. An internal oscillator runs at 2.5 kHz, establishing the carrier for pulse-width modulation that excites the valve coils. Protection is provided by a time-delay 2.5 A fuse. The board also delivers regulated ±9 V rails and accepts four differential command channels at ±9 V, each of which is filtered before comparison. The enable logic recognizes an active level above 8.5 V and releases the outputs once the line falls below 6.5 V.
The single-channel output driver can source up to 30 mA, allowing it to feed indicator circuits or logic relays without overloading the reference rails. Hydraulic power is engaged through a relay coil with a resistance of 2150 Ω. The card can pass peak solenoid currents of up to 1.8 A when connected to a coil with a cold winding resistance of 5.4 Ω. The proportional stage uses Command Input 5 at ±10 V to provide a wider control span for valves that require extended travel.
