The VT 5002 S24 Electrical Amplifier Card is designed to operate direct operated proportional directional valves with electrical position feedback. This amplifier card supports differential input that enables precise control of valve position via electrical signals. It has built in functionality such as step function and ramp generators to ensure smooth and controlled movement. This amplifier card supports up to four adjustable command values that provides users with a flexible interface for operation. It also includes protection against polarity reversal for the voltage supply. This VT-5000 Card operates within a voltage range of 22 V - 35 V, with a nominal operating voltage of 24 V DC (± 5 %). It consumes less than 50 VA of power and requires a current of less than 2 A. For safety, a 2.5 A T fuse is included to prevent damage. This card incorporates advanced safety features including cable break detection through an oscillator and demodulator for inductive position measurement. This ensures that even in case of cable failure, the system can quickly identify faults and minimize risks.
This VT 5002 S24 electrical amplifier card has various input options: command values 1 to 4 can be adjusted within ± 9 V while command value 5 uses a 0 to 10 V range. The enable input requires a voltage higher than 8.5 V to activate with the unit deactivating below 6.5 V. The range for ramp adjustment is from 30ms - 1s. This card has two clocked current output stages for precise control of the valve spool position.
