Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the VT 4593-10 IO card. It’s energy efficient with less than 50 VA power consumption. Long-term sustainability and reliability are ensured by this low power consumption, which reduces heat and total energy consumption. The card’s power management is also shown by the current consumption, which is less than 2A. Essential overcurrent protection is provided by a 2.5 A T fuse rating, which protects the card and any system it’s attached to from electrical surges. Potentiometers allow the VT 4593-10 to have four separate command inputs with a typical command input voltage range of ±9 V. For applications that require high precision and responsiveness, this allows precise control of connected automation components.
The card has programmable ramp time options from 30 ms to 1 s or 5 s with a factory default of 5 s. Because of its flexibility, users can adjust the system’s reaction time to suit their application. A longer ramp time gives smoother and more regulated movements, and a shorter ramp time gives a faster system reaction. Each model in the VT-5000 series has a different output stage solenoid rating; VT 5005 has Imax 1.8 A, and VT 5006 has Imax 2.2 A with matching resistors. The self-clocking frequency of the VT 4593-10 is up to 1.5 kHz. The card can process data fast because of its high-frequency operation, which ensures accurate timing and synchronization in automation applications. The oscillator frequency, which is used for internal timing and signal generation inside the card, is 2.5 kHz ±10%.
The measurement sockets for command value (w) and actual position (x) have an input resistance (Ri) of 100 Ω and provide voltage output from 0 to ±6 V or ±100% control.
