Product Description:
The VT3002-1-20/48F is a rack-mounted field-wiring carrier supplied by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT 3000 Analog Amplifiers series. The unit serves as the mechanical and electrical interface between an analog amplifier card and plant wiring, allowing discrete valve coils, transducer lines, and supply rails to connect without soldering. Its standardized layout consolidates these connections while keeping field conductors separate from the removable amplifier card. The board mates with the amplifier through a DIN 41612 backplane header arranged in the d, b, and z rows with even-numbered pins, helping prevent wiring errors.
Each circuit can carry up to 4 A and is insulated for a maximum of 48 VAC/DC, allowing low-voltage command paths and modest power feeds to use the same interface. The compression lugs accept conductors up to 4 mm², providing enough capacity for heavier-gauge cabling on higher-current connections. Compression termination also secures the conductors without requiring soldered joints at the carrier. Four fixing points accommodate M4 hardware, and their 4.2 mm holes match commonly used panel screws. This mounting arrangement secures the board directly to a suitable panel while leaving the terminals accessible for wiring.
The single Euro-format outline keeps the card width consistent with neighboring modules in a multi-tier enclosure. The hat rail can be positioned only vertically, creating a uniform downward path for connected cables. Field wiring terminates at plug-in screw terminals, and the contacts are prewired to the board’s signal tracks. The connector form is designated F, indicating its keying and retention profile within the Rexroth rack. A total of 48 socket pins supports valve manifolds and other applications that require numerous field connections without auxiliary terminal blocks. The carrier has a mass of 0.5 kg, which limits the load placed on light-gauge subpanels while preserving a rigid mounting interface.
