Product Description:
The VT 3006-S-2X is an analog amplifier card produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT 3000 Analog Amplifiers series. The module converts differential command signals into controlled solenoid current so hydraulic proportional valves can be driven directly from a cabinet-level controller. It occupies a single Eurocard slot, allowing dense installation inside industrial motion or pressure-control racks where fast, linear actuation is essential. The amplifier relies on an onboard reference network to bias its output stage and supports five independent command channels for multi-axis machinery.
The card measures 100 mm × 160 mm, and its rack connection uses a 32-pin DIN 41612 Form D header that carries power, reference lines, and the five command inputs. The power stage operates from a stabilized bus between 22 VDC and 39 VDC, while the internal bias network draws a baseline current of 20 mA ±25% to center the output circuitry. Under typical hydraulic loading, total power demand remains below 50 VA, and the driver stays within the board’s protective 2.5 A time-lag fuse rating. These limits allow the amplifier to share a cabinet with sensitive control electronics without overloading the common power supply. The standardized header also keeps power and signal connections organized within the rack.
For each valve coil, the output current can rise to 800 mA, providing adequate magnetic force for most NG6 proportional spools. Reliable operation is permitted from 0 °C up to 50 °C, so the card can be used in unconditioned machine rooms when sufficient air circulation is available. With current consumption kept below 1 A and a mass of only 0.15 kg, the unit imposes minimal thermal and mechanical load on the rack. Its low mass reduces stress on the card guides and backplane connector during normal machine vibration.
