The VT 3002-20-32 is a card holder designed by Rexroth Indramat to aid the integration of individual electronic cards into the industrial servo system. This card holder is designed under ideal industrial conditions, before it is supplied to the end user, it is tested and certified by Rexroth Indramat to operate according to internationally acceptable standards. The vertical mounting of this card holder unto a DIN rail is made possible with an additional adaptor which is included within the card holder’s scope of supply. Also, although this card holder features a very simple structure that makes it easy to handle, it is still important for industrial operators to go through the documentation supplied with it and ensure all instructions concerning the correct handling of the cardholder are strictly followed.
The VT 3002-20-32 industrial card holder features a 32-pin strip that comes in contact with the electrical card and supplies it with electrical energy. It also features a special level which is designed for card locking and releasing. The maximum terminal voltage that can be handled by this card holder is about 125 volts, while the current loading capacity is about 4 amperes. This card holder is also free of dangerous chemical substances such as silicon, asbestos and mercury. After the service life of the cardholder has been exhausted, it can be sent back to the Rexroth Indramat for recycling.
The application of this card holder outside a temperature range of – 20 to about 75 degrees Celsius can cause a significant reduction in the effectiveness of the device. Also, this card holder weighs about 0.5 kilograms.
