The VT 3002-1-2X-64G is a card holder manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT 3000 Analog Amplifiers series. It provides a rigid mounting frame and a backplane interface so analog amplifier cards can be inserted or removed without rewiring. This arrangement keeps field connections on the holder instead of on the removable card. In control cabinets, that layout helps preserve wiring order when an amplifier card has to be exchanged or serviced. The holder serves as the stationary interface between cabinet wiring and the removable analog control electronics.

This holder uses the Single Euro-Format, so its guides and contact rails match 100 mm × 160 mm printed-circuit boards common to Rexroth amplifier modules. Electrical mating is achieved through a rear 64-Pin Socket, Form G that routes command, sensor, and supply lines to the plugged-in card. The internal copper paths are sized for a continuous load of 3 A, allowing the amplifier electronics to draw control power without external jumpers. For cabinet safety, the distribution tracks are limited to a maximum terminal potential of 48 VAC/DC, keeping the holder within low-voltage control limits. Field conductors fasten to the backplane by plug-in screw terminals, which allow quick removal while maintaining vibration-resistant clamping.

Wiring ferrules up to 4 mm² can be inserted, which allows heavier gauge leads where longer runs or lower voltage drop are important. The device type is Card Holder, so no active amplification components are contained on the board itself. Because the holder only provides mechanical support and electrical distribution, signal processing remains on the installed amplifier card. With a mass of only 0.5 kg, the frame adds little weight to densely populated racks. The low mass also helps limit mechanical stress on rails and support hardware in compact cabinet assemblies.
