Product Description:
The VT 3002-1-2X-48F is an analog amplifier module produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT 3000 Analog Amplifiers series. The card installs in automation racks, where it conditions electrical signals and supplies controlled power to downstream devices such as proportional valves or transducers. Its modular design allows the board to connect to field wiring and rack components without complex point-to-point connections. This arrangement also helps keep the control cabinet organized while supporting signal processing and power delivery within the same rack system.
Field wiring connects through plug-in screw terminals, so conductors can be clamped without soldering and the board can be removed while the wiring remains intact. The power section is rated for 4 A, indicating the maximum continuous load that the onboard circuitry can supply to external coils or control loops. Operating power is accepted through a 48 VAC/DC input, allowing the same board to run from either an AC control transformer or a DC auxiliary bus. Interfacing with adjacent cards occurs through a 48-pin Form F connector at the rear, which aligns the amplifier with standardized backplanes in machining centers or press lines. The module weighs 0.5 kg, making it suitable for densely arranged cabinet installations while remaining easy to handle during installation or service.
The module is designed for vertical hat-rail mounting, so the card slides directly onto the rail without additional brackets and does not obstruct normal airflow paths. Field leads with cross-sectional areas up to 4 mm² can be inserted, providing flexibility when higher-current loops or longer cable runs require heavier conductors. Backplane engagement follows the DIN 41612 standard, allowing the module to connect with signal processors, relays, or diagnostic modules that use the same connector family. The contact strips use an even-numbered pattern on rows d, b, and z, which organizes input and output assignments and helps prevent incorrect engagement when multiple amplifier modules occupy adjacent rack slots.
