Within an automation rack, it converts set-point voltages from a PLC into precisely metered coil currents, allowing directional, pressure, or flow valves to respond linearly to electronic commands and helping stabilize motion or process variables across repeated machine cycles.
It operates from a stabilized supply of 24 VDC ±10%, and the internal circuitry can draw up to 30 W during maximum dynamic response.
