The VT 3000 analog amplifier card is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT 3000 Analog Amplifiers series. Built on a 32-pin plug-in Euro card, it slots into control racks where it modulates the current sent to proportional solenoid valves in automated hydraulic loops. The board accepts differential command signals and shapes them so that valve coils receive precisely timed and scaled drive current, allowing the host controller to translate voltage references into repeatable mechanical positioning of servo-hydraulic actuators in closed-loop hydraulic systems.

This card operates from a regulated supply of 24 VDC and can deliver up to 800 mA to the load. The input stage tolerates control signals of ±9 V, and it will not be overdriven as long as the connected source presents at least 500 Ω of impedance. A minimum ramp time of 0.03 s is available, enabling fast but controlled spool movement without hydraulic shock. Internally, the circuit maintains a 20 mA bias so the valve remains centered when no command is present, and it limits coil resistance to 19.5 Ω to keep power devices within their safe dissipation range. The amplifier is trimmed so that the test point reads 1 mV for every 1 mA of output, simplifying calibration and field diagnostics.

Total power draw is constrained to 30 W, and an onboard fuse rated at 2.5 A protects the supply path. The regulator continues to function within a supply window of ±10%, while a temperature drift of 0.5‰/K keeps gain changes negligible over the specified 0 °C to 50 °C ambient range. The assembly weighs 0.15 kg, so it adds little mass to compact control cabinets. That operating behavior helps the connected hydraulic stage respond predictably to changing command signals during continuous use in industrial machinery and hydraulic test stands.
