Product Description:
The VT 1516-1X is a single card holder with power supply, from Rexroth. The amplifier card holder makes the amplifier card installation process simple by rendering a stable platform for anchoring field connections. The accessory is used to install the manufacturer’s VT 2000 range of electronic amplifier cards that are used in pump controls and for controlling proportional pressure control valves.
The electronic amplifier card comprises a voltage stabilizer to render constant voltage for performance consistency. The amplifier card is capable of converting an input voltage signal to output current proportionally for powering a proportional solenoid. It is fed through a regulator that is responsible for filtering, suppressing, and smoothing the voltage. The card has a 24V power supply, 800mA maximum output current rating and 30W power rating. The solenoid wires of the card must not operate near the power wires. The current terminals with the “ac” suffix feature an internal connection and do not support any connection to be made by the user.
The amplifier card has a pulse-width modulated output and is equipped with a ramp generator to control the rate at which the pressure increases and decreases. The ramp generator also transforms a stepped input signal to an output signal that increases gradually over an adjustable period of time.The power supply must be turned off before the amplifier card is either connected or disconnected. The reed switches, dry circuit contacts, or other switches that are used for the input signals should be able to handle very low currents less than 1mA. The card end of the shielded control voltage wires must be connected to the panel ground. The amplifier card holder is available with a warranty period of one year.
