The VEP40.4EIN-512NN-MAD-1G0-NN-FW is an operator terminal produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the VEP Embedded Terminals series. The unit combines a touch interface with dedicated machine keys and serves as a human-machine interface for drive-based or PLC-based automation cells. By hosting visualization software and presenting process data locally, it allows users to issue commands and monitor machine states without relying on a separate PC. The integrated display and key area make it suitable for mounting close to the machine, where alarms, setpoints, and operating pages need to be available at the point of use.
