The VEP30.4EFN-612-NN-A2D-NNN-NN-FW is an HMI panel in the VEP Embedded Terminals series produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. It combines display electronics, a processor, and field wiring connections so operators can issue commands and read machine status directly on the factory floor. The unit’s role in an automation cell is to present process data graphically and accept input without the need for a separate industrial PC. This arrangement helps keep the operator interface compact while still supporting direct interaction with the controlled machine.

Its front visual interface measures 8.4 in diagonally and is built on a TFT panel that renders images in 262,144 colors. A native resolution of 800 x 600 pixels keeps text and vector objects legible at arm’s length. Machine commands are entered through a touch screen, eliminating physical push buttons and allowing software-based layouts. A regulated bus of 24 V DC serves as the reference for internal logic, and stable operation is maintained up to 2000 m above sea level.
